Attention all Grade 7 & 8 Students and Parents:
PSSA testing is right around the corner! All 7th and 8th grade families should have received testing information in the mail this week which included this letter along with a testing calendar.
All Sharon students in grades 7 and 8 are required to take the PSSA in ELA and Math; 8th graders are required to also take the PSSA in Science. Testing will be at the Middle/High School on the dates below with 7th and 8th graders testing at different times. Since we will be running on an alternate schedule for testing, we ask you to be aware that when students are not in the building for testing, they will be expected to log into their Google Classrooms to complete daily educational activities. Cyber Academy students will be required to continue assignments given on the Accelerate program.
Testing dates for the 2022 PSSAs are as follows:
ELA: Monday, April 25, Tuesday, April 26, and Wednesday, April 27 (Make ups: Thursday, April 28 & Friday, April 29)
Math: Tuesday, May 3 and Wednesday, May 4 (Make up: Monday, May 9)
Science (grade 8 only): Thursday, May 5 and Friday, May 6 (Make ups: Monday, May 9 & Tuesday, May 10)
WE ASK THAT ALL PARENTS REVIEW THE CODE OF CONDUCT WITH THEIR CHILDREN PRIOR TO APRIL 25TH.
