Announcing……Kindergarten Registration
Dear Families,
We are so happy that you are part of the West Hill School family. It is with great anticipation that we announce Kindergarten Registration for the 2020-2021 school year. Our registration will be held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, May 20th, 21st and 22nd, from 9 to 2.
*Due to Covid-19, we are requesting that registration packets are completed prior to the registration dates.
You can register your child for Kindergarten on-line at the West Hill Elementary School website. This site is fully functional and allows you to register your child from the convenience of your own home.
To register on-line search for www.sharonsd.org. Once there select “West Hill Elementary School” from the “Schools” drop-down menu. Next select “Registration by Google Form.” If you complete this online registration there will be no need to come to the school, your child’s registration will be complete!
If you would rather, may be print an application from our website by selecting “Registration by PDF” School District’s website. In addition, packets will be available to pick up during lunch hours at the West Hill Elementary school cafeteria doors (11:00 to 12:30 daily). Also, packets may be picked up in the Main Office Lobby from 9-11 or 1-3. We are asking that the required documentation be copies that are obtained in advance, if possible.
*If you do not complete the on-line registration, you can drop off completed packets during the stated registration dates and times. No children are to accompany parents. Screening will take place once the new school year commences. We are asking that only one parent drop off the registration packet.
Registration is for children who will turn 5 years old on or before August 31, 2020. In order to register your child for kindergarten, parent/guardian must provide a copy of the following items:
- Child’s Birth Certificate
- Child’s Social Security Card
- Child’s Shot Records
- (2) Proofs of Residency: Lease agreement/current utility bill/paycheck stub)
- Custody papers if applicable.
In order to ensure that the child can begin school on the first day of the school year, the school is required to have all of the above documentation on record.
