Dear Parents and Guardians,

During the last weeks of October 2020, communities and schools all over America will participate in the Red Ribbon Campaign.  The Red Ribbon symbolizes a national commitment to eliminate alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs as a choice among the youth of America.

The Sharon elementary schools will be participating in this campaign during the school week of October 26th – Oct. 30th.  The theme for this year is: Vote YES for your future!  Vote No to drugs!   Throughout the week, students will receive prevention materials, be provided a bracelet, and participate in theme days.  As a TEAM of parents, teachers, and students we must work together to help our children make positive choices for themselves.  Please join us in reinforcing the DRUG FREE message in your home.

 Please encourage your child to participate in our DRUG FREE effort by dressing according to each day’s theme.  Dress code bottoms/pants must be worn all week.  The week’s schedule is as follows:

Monday OCTOBER 26TH

Red Ribbon Week KICKOFF!!

  • Wear RED, WHITE, and BLUE accessories today (jewelry, socks, shoes, hair ties etc...)

Wearing RED shows our commitment to be part of the DRUG FREE NATION. 

We ELECT to be Drug Free!


Tuesday - OCTOBER 27TH

Be all you can be DRUG FREE!

  • Wear a favorite camouflage shirt.  Dress code bottoms please!

Let’s team up with our friends and be an army against drugs!


Wednesday - OCTOBER 28TH

From Head to Toe I am drug free!

  • Wear crazy socks today!

Let’s work together to give drugs the boot!


Thursday - OCTOBER 29TH

Heroes don’t use drugs!

  • Wear a superhero shirt or top.  Dress code bottoms please!

Be a community of heroes and team up against drugs!  Shout out to our COMMUNITY HEROES:  all the people who help keep us safe, healthy, and happy in our Sharon neighborhoods!


Friday - OCTOBER 30TH

ORANGE you glad you are DRUG FREE!

  • Orange out at Sharon Elementary Schools!  Wear an orange shirt!

Case Avenue + C.M. Musser + West Hill = Drug Free Community!
