Congratulations to recent Sharon High School Valedictorian and graduate, Justin Stanek (Class of 2020), who was awarded with two scholarships at his family's home on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 . Stanek received scholarships from the Strimbu Foundation sponsored by JCL Development in the amount of $2,000 and was the overall scholarship winner of $10,000, provided by Steel Dynamics.
Justin was selected based on the qualities of community involvement and academics by an anonymous selection committee. This year, the Strimbu Foundation, an organization that was founded on the passions of the late Nick Strimbu Jr., has awarded $37,000 in scholarships to local high school students from Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. Stanek plans to attend Penn State University this fall!
